Bookings for Conference 2025 are now open!
We'd love to welcome you to Troon for a day of CLPL centred on all things Geography.
This year we have Luisa Hendry (The Scottish Geologist) coming to do our main conference address. We also have 18 CLPL workshops to choose from (a full list below and in the accompanying PDF), pallets of SQA past papers to give away and lovely delegate packs which will include a free choice of textbook. Our exhibitor's will be along highlighting useful resources, events, places to visit and opportunities for you and the pupils you teach.
Breakfast and lunch is included.
The price has remained the same as previous years - £30 for members and only £10 for students and NQTs. Non-members are welcome to join us for £50. We encourage members to approach their school who might be able to cover this cost from their CLPL budget. We have put into place an invoicing system to help with this.
Our workshop allocations will be on a first-come-first-served basis, so the sooner you sign-up, the more likely it will be that you get your first choices.
This year we're delighted to be able to include a free book for teachers attending conference. We've chosen two books which will support your teaching in class or in the field. You will get the opportunity on the booking form to select which book you would like.
We also have all the leftover SQA papers for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher to give out to conference delegates. Useful for those precious maps and as a revision resource, we'd much rather see them being used in classrooms than sitting on a pallet for much longer!
