We are a Scotland-based subject association founded in 1970 and dedicated to further development and teaching of Geography. We are proud to be among the most active of subject associations and each year work hard to support Geography teachers around the country. The association is regularly works with the SQA, Education Scotland, the RSGS and other bodies about various Geography matters thereby playing an important part in promoting the profile of the subject.

The Scottish Association of Geography Teachers is a registered charity (SCO number 12481) and its core activities are financed by membership subscriptions.
